I just discovered these pictures of St. Lucy's relics. She is not considered an incorrupt Saint, but her body is venerated in the Shrine bearing her name in Syracuse. I remember hearing that there was some debate over which city "owned" her relics, and that a few years back they were stolen from the church but later found. What ever the history may be, St. Lucy's relics are venerated by countless devotees from all over the world.

St. Lucy relics (St. Geremia church Venice)

Thank you. (Multumesc)
It was so nice finding your blog. I am from Romania and I am 24 years old. On the 26th of February my sister, Lucia, died at the age of 26...it was so unexpected...I started reading about guardian angels and wanted to know more about Saint Lucy (Sfanta Mucenita Lucia). The odd thing is I actually visited Venice and St. Geremia was the first church I saw in Venice and the first thing I photographed in Venice. That is another odd thing, I did not know that Saint Lucy was considered a patron of the photographers (I consider myself an enthusiastic semipro photographer). I am sorry I did not go inside the church, but now it is my hope I will some day. All the best to you!
Blessed St. Lucy, thank you for looking in on my son's eye's, eye's in his ancestry for glaucoma, blindness, "the eyes are the windows of the soul", partial damage to my eyes from being attacked in the photo industry, etc. Thank you for looking in on the promises of Christ that ensure protection of your senses, and extreme threats to my eyes.
If anyone has anyway or information of obtaining a 1st class relic of St. Lucy, can you please let me know. My dear mother is almost blind from macular degeneration, and she has to have her throat stretched due to choking on food and drink. I am praying for a miracle. She prays the rosary every day, but still lacks total faith and surrender.
